This wonderful location on the North Shore of Kaua'i provides for an incredibly lush landscape. Situated on over a 2 acres of land, the Wainiha River House and Cottage estate garden is a tropical paradise, providing privacy and beautiful views.

Vegetation is amazingly lush - we have tangerines, limes, avocados, bananas, cherries, oranges, gardenia hedges, palm trees, African tulip trees, birds of paradise, orchids, many species of ginger, hibiscus and heliconias.

In addition to beauty and privacy, the dense foliage and the stream that runs through the garden also provide an effective sound barrier - Besides the ever-present sound of softly running water, the song birds and the occassional haunting cry of a peacock are the only sounds heard on the property.

The view from the House and Cottage is of this lush, tropical garden and of the green mountains beyond, sometimes running with as many as a half dozen waterfalls in the distance. It's possible to while away many relaxing hours in this alluring and magical garden.
